Hi,

Has anybody travelled on Qatar airways before?

Plenty of people

Is it a new airline?

7 years old in its current form

How's transit at Doha?

Get off plane, buy duty free, have drink, something to eat, get on
plane

Is it safe to fly with this airline?

Yes, they haven't lost one yet.

In common with many Middle Eastern nations, Qatar refuses entry and
transit to holders of passports issued by Israel. As far as I know,
Qatar Airways has no such restriction.

This is analogous to UAE and Emirates. The UAE refuses entry and
transit to holders of passports issued by Israel, but as far as I know,
Emirates has no such restriction.

I don't know whether someone with joint Israeli/Other citizenship would
technically be in breach of immigration regulations in Qatar or UAE if
they entered on their Other passport.

I don't know of any country which refuses entry to, or any airline
which refuses carriage to, Jews per se. Such restrictions would be
totally unenforceable: my EU passport only shows my town of birth and
my citizenship. There is nothing to indicate my religion or ethnic
origin. Do you know of any such, and if so, how do they go about
enforcing it?

Hi,

Has anybody travelled on Qatar airways before? Is it a new airline?

How's your experience? How's transit at Doha? Is it safe to fly with this

airline?

Appreciate if anybody could provide some information.

Thanks :)

I just was recently in Doha

Experience, it is actually China or Philipine airways if you you look at the
crew aboard. The crew are all non-locals

Transit Doha, hahaha. A big joke
There are only a few walkways in Doha airport. So most of the airplanes need
bustransport between building and airplane. Even the BA 747 has
bustransport.

The airport is not outfitted for this trafic. It is to small for the
passengers. Come back in 10years and hope the have build a new terminal
I thinks there are only 2 shops

cheers
