Night Markets in Bangkok
 

Hi,

I'm heading to Bangkok for a Thursday night and Friday night for a
short stopover as part of another trip at the end of February, with the
main intention to photograph some night markets.

I visited Bangkok for longer with my wife in 2010 and I am trying to
remember which night markets we visited that were the most interesting.

I think that we visited the Chatuchak weekend market and Patpong night
market. Are these still running, large, colourful and entertaining ?

I am getting conflicting information on when the Chatuchak market is
open -- is it open to general visitors on Friday night ? My intention
would probably be to visit Patpong on Thursday night and Chatuchak on
Friday night - any general comments on this idea ?
