1. *If you plan to go to the Opera House, it is best to get the
tickets in advance because you run the risk of them selling out when
you get there because of the high number of tourists that visit.

2. If travelling by bus, buy the 10 pass bus ticket instead of
individual rides. You will save money and the hassle of making sure
you have coins each time you want to take a bus.

3. Make sure your taxi has a meter; otherwise the driver will try to
take advantage of you.

4. To take the ferry is cheaper than a taxi.

If you're planning to use a lot of public transit during a few days in
Sydney, your best bet is a "Green Travel Card" (or "pass") - costs
about $45 and covers 7 days unlimited use (within a reasonable radius
of the city centre) of trains, buses and almost all ferries. A few
ferry rides, and the card pays for itself.

Leon!

Since when do any taxi's in Sydney NOT have a meter?.

If what you get into doesnt have a meter then its NOT A TAXI.

Hire cars & chaufferred vehicles ARE NOT TAXIS and thus will work mainly on
hourly rates etc.

But again I say ALL SYDNEY TAXIS HAVE METERS

So if you post this again, please delete that section re taxi and no meters.
