Massacre by firearms once again in the USA

Doesn't this idolizing of firearms ever cease in the USA. Even Beirut is a
safer place than the streets of the US towns. Now, at least nine people have
been shot to death by a madman. This seems to happen VERY often in the USA.

Yes, and gun enthusiasts will say that it's because there aren't enough
guns on the streets

Tho' I agree that the ambiguous Second Amendment should be
modified or repealed, don't people get tired quoting dubious
statistics and saying the same thing about violence in the US
time and time again? There are other heavily armed countries
where the murder rate is not so high and isn't it still legal to
shoot a housebreaker after 10 PM in France?

Madman? Well, neurotic teenager, at least.

Of course, the USA has some fifty times the population, so we
should expect most things to happen fifty times as often as in
Finland, which means, given the recent similar event in Finland,
that Finland may be winning the massacre contest.

There were signs declaring the mall a "Gun free zone" NE is a right to
carry state, so are the mall operators on ht ehook for damages as they
assumed all security to protect the shoppers?
