I'm looking for recommendations and opinons on flying with Jet Blue.
Prices seem good, but I don't know anyone who has used them.

About the best experience in the sky for domestic coach travel. It's a shame
their routes are limited.

I particularly appreciate the opportunity to choose between extra legroom
(in the back) and fast unloading (in the front).

Used them loads of times. In my opinion they are excellent. I've only
ever been significantly delayed with them once and that was due to the
blackout in NYC last summer.

Absolutely outstanding. Having TV in your seat really helps take the edge
off when you are stuck on the runway waiting for traffic.

Another GREAT feature is their cancellation policy. Canceled tickets incure
a $25 charge (the lowest in the industry). The ticket credit can be used on
any future ticket(s). You can change names, use the credit on multiple
tickets, etc.... Nobody else lets you do that.

The ONLY way to fly. Unfortunately, I live in MN, and they don't fly here
yet, or I'd be flying them on every trip.

Wrong.. Southwest has a $0 charge and you can use the credit on multiple
tickets, different names, etc.

Yeah, sure... Nobody else except Southwest, that is. Also, $25 is
about 25 bucks higher than $0, which is what Southwest charges for
cancellations.

tickets, different names, etc.


I do want to mention that, for the moment, I am happy that Jet Blue is
around. I can't think of any other reason you can get a one way ticket
from SJC to JFK for $145 or so. We are planning on going roundtrip to
the east coast this summer, but one family member has intenational open
jaw to California and from JFK on an SU award, so they will need a one
way ticket. Jet Blues presence at OAK makes the AA fare from SJC cheaper.

Sorry about missing the SW Airlines credit policy. Here in MN, we
unfortunately don't have either SW Airlines or JetBlue. We have to put up
with the $100 / no name changes policy of NW Airlines, so JetBlue looks
really good.
