Singer breaks down the barriers GEOFFREY Gurrumul Yunupingu's music is
a far cry from the tribal dancing and didgeridoo playing of his former

occupations where skills shortages persist a Chefs, Metal
tradespeople, Hairdressers, Health professionals, Food professionals,
Science professionals, Computing professionals, Wood trades. Among
the professional sectors affected by the downturn are accountants
auditors, marketing and advertising, and construction. Skills

Death of a leader of cultural revolution Jerzy Zubrzycki PROMINENT
Catholic intellectual and father of Australian multiculturalism Jerzy
Zubrzycki has died. He was 89. Polish-born Professor Zubrzycki was
the founding professor of sociology at the Australian National
University and is credited with helping to steer Australia towards
multiculturalist settlement policies (for migrants) rather than the
assimilationist approach that dominated until the 1970s.
