Common problem on all of usenet I'm afraid.

However, both for travel and diabetes information, I still
learned more of value on usenet than from any other source.
Sure, I had to wade through a lot of swine and muck to find
the pearls - but they were worth finding.

Thanks to the few out there who provided the good info.

People are cool in OZ and NZ. If you disagree, it's
your fault.

Where would I rather live?
OZ!
Why?
I'd rather not live on a fault line.
I prefer to live on flat land.

I prefer four seasons and like winter
especially because the ground freezes
and last year's insects die - so fewer
insects come spring. So to me, places
in OZ like Armidale and Jindabyne are
on the top of my list. If it weren't
for the Pacific Rim fault line, South
Island might be a nice place for me
to live. And they again being able
to legally run a moonshine still makes
NZ attractive.

But you can also legally make moonshine
in Peru, but I wouldn't want to live
there.

People (New Zealanders) say that New Zealand is a pretty country - where
else in the world do find lipstick on sheep - very pretty indeed!

In my opinion New Zealand is the best country instead of Australia because New Zealand is the cool country and there population is very low and all peoples easily find work there.

On the other hand, Australia has Tropical Cyclones, destructive floods
and massive fires.

It also has deadly snakes, deadly spiders, deadly stonefish, deadly
jellyfish, dangerous crocodiles and numerous shark attacks and New
Zealand doesn't.

Hi,
Both those countries have many things which are of great interest and
beauty.
It depends upon what you want to see.

If you'd been around this newsgroup as long as I have, you'd know that
I call 'em as I see 'em. But please do feel free to avoid me. I have
little time for people who are so ignorant of Usenet that they call a
newsgroup a list and compound their ignorance of Usenet by
top-posting.

Obviously, you also failed to notice that the original question was:
"What do you think is better - New Zealand or Australia and why?" And
that I was responding to some idiot who wrote: "As NZ recently
experience earthquake quiet disturbing for travelers think of
Australia today!"

Sloppy English aside, was THAT a balanced, knowledgeable and plosive
reply?

Of course both OZ and NZ "have many things which are of great interest
and beauty." They also have things it would be best to avoid. That's
not being negative, it's being honest.

Sarcastic? I was trying my very best to be downright insulting.

I wasn't going to waste my fingers writing on a thread started by as spammer
trying to get attention for his own website, but indeed this group has been
pretty dead for a while. However the flamers seem to have disappeared also
so maybe some real travel related questions and answers can start here
again. This appears to be happening with rec.travel.europe which I always
still check so maybe there is hope.
