Britain Boomer
I'm overwhelmed. The last time I went traveling to Europe was 1966 as
a college student, and we didn't have the internet with so much information!! So much of my travel goals have changed, of course. Any suggestions for a baby boomer with not a lot of money who can't hitchhike anymore, doesn't see herself in a bus on a group tour yet knows she wants and needs companionship? I want to return to Great Britain but this time visit the places of historical and mythical significance, to feel the culture of the land. I'm not an adventurer nor athletic, but I like the unusual as well as the standard, the noisey as well as the quiet. I like to participate more than observe. Where do I start? I've been attempting this project for a year now and keep getting put-off by what seems like the immensity of it all. Thanks |
