Need help with itinerary in Central America

I just got tickets to Managua, Nicaragua (NewarkMiamiManagua) using
my A.A. frequent flyer miles, departing on February 5th. and will be
away for about 3 weeks.

I also plan to visit Teguciglpa, Honduras and San Salvador, El
Salvador and was thinking about using Ticabus but I saw that Grupo Taca
airlines has some decent fares (ManaguaTeguciglpa for about $150 round
trip). I'm wondering if there's a way to get to these various
destinations without having to return to Managua at the end of my
vacation because of my A.A. frequent flyer tickets.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Sy

Being that I have to depart from Managua at the end of my vacation
because of my A.A.

Are you planning on traveling around Honduras? If so, I guess Teguc. is an
OK place to start from. But, if it were me (and the air fare was comparable)
I'd fly to San Pedro Sula where you can hop a bus to Copan, Tela, La Ceiba
and a quick flight out to the Bay Islands. Tegucigalpa isn't much of a
destination in my opinion.
