Why don't airlines do this? It would be a good business move.
They do on new planes (generally) or when the seating is replaced en
masse. However, it doesn't make business sense to retrofit existing planes
just to add power.
Air Canada has them in four rows of coach on the 320's that have the new
seats. I don't know how tough it is to get them. They also put the seats
closer together on these....
