Can you still spend old 5 Euro Notes?

It's been 30 months since the new note was introduced,

can you still routinely spend the old ones in shops, or do you have to take
them to the bank to change?

TIA

The old notes disappeared very quickly, but they are still valid.
You don't even have to exchange them for new ones.

There is a possibility that some automatic payment machines (such as for
parkings) might not recognise them, but they are still valid currency.
