Even the finest parents in the world can't prevent a tragedy like this, IMHO. The fellow that pulled the little girl out of the pool, and the folk who revived her, deserved the respect and thanks from all. -- Nonnymus- We have reached a time in our nations history where the grasshopper is slowly consuming the ant. And she was on a cruise with her Aunt and Uncle... but it CAN happen
to anyone, and the pool was only 1.5 meters deep. or under 5 feet deep. On Thu, 09 Oct 2008 11:02:27 -0700, Nonnymus wrote: Becca wrote: Dillon Pyron wrote: Doesn't say how old she was. As a scuba instructor and WSI, my lawyer has warned me that I have a "sue me" sign on my back when I get near the water. This summer a boy of about that age drowned in a 24 Hour Fitness pool here in Austin. They had six lifeguards on duty and no one noticed that he was underwater. Yes, the man is a real hero (as opposed to a "sports hero"). |

I'm told the one in LV is pretty good, but no Driftwood. |

Saltlick is very good but not great. Take a drive over to Llano and
have lunch at Cooper's or an even shorter drive to Taylor and try Louie Meuller's. |
