Any advice on flying India to HK/China?
 

Wow, I'm so glad I found this group!

Does anyone have any tips of flying India to HK/China. I'm in the
south so flying out of Chennai or Mumbai would be preferable.

Most prices I've seen online seem to be around $600 USD (yikes!) ...
any idea the price range I should expect if I buy locally? I was
hoping more like $300 USD.

Also any advice on getting a visa for HK/China while in India would be
helpful.

Are you in India now and trying to get ticket? If so I can't really help
you. You may want to check with a travel agent to see when is low season.


Also any advice on getting a visa for HK/China while in India would be
helpful.

I am in India now. I've found posts from a couple of years ago talking
about fairly low prices to Thailand if I book locally at Mumbai or
Chennai and was wondering if that is still valid now, and when going
to HK/China.

Anyone know when low season is, or care to take a guess? I'm looking
to go in February.
