Diamox and Altitude Sickness
 

Hi

What is the current view on Diamox for preventing Altitude sickness?

I understand that it may have side effects, and that it may mask symptoms of
HACE or HAPE - so could actually eb a danger.

Any views or experiences please.
I'm up Kilimanjaro in a couple of weeks, so will be above 3500m for 3 days.
