Life ain't going to stop, so it might as well go on. As long as one doesn't push the odds by weekending in Damascus, what else can we all do? |

The atrocities happened about 2-3 Km from my place, in a straight line; the Stade de France is much further away, I didn't hear anything. Still, it was terrifying to know that there was - literally - blood in the streets. Let's brace ourselves, the worst is yet to come. :( I am so glad that you are safe, Magda. At meetings that we have attended and during Masses at our parish church, we have had periods of silence and prayers said for you and your country. Those barbarians MUST be stopped. As terrifying as it was and still is, we must have faith and hope for a better outcome. Take care and be safe. --Jean |
