Campervan jn Darwin
 

My wife and I are booked to go to Darwin in Sept. We want to rent a
campervan, tour the area and then drive to Cairns. I know from two
previous rentals in Oz that the companies don't allow their vans to be
driven on unsealed roads. My questions is: Will I be able to able to
explore the National parks in a 2WD or will I have to rent a 4WD?

also any suggestions on companies to rent from, places to go, hotels in
Darwin would be welcome.

We used Apollo..for cars, but they have many vans too. They were the best
deal with the best prices and no penalty for "one way"
