Need recent info on Cabo / Misiones del Cabo
 

Hi all.

I was searching for articles about Misiones and found some in this
newsgroup, but none recent. My wife and I got a timeshare there almost
ten years ago. We went a couple of times but haven't been back since
around 1999. We were thinking of going there in January, so I'm trying
to get info about what the place is like these days.

I'd really appreciate some general comments and some specific answers:

Are there any working ATMs in town? There weren't either trip we took.

Did they ever finish the mall near the marina? What's it like?

How's cell coverage, specifically Verizon. I was told by them it would
be roaming ($.69/min + long distance). Any better alternatives? Buy a
disposable cell down there?

Any specific info/comment on Misiones would be really great!
