Trans. from Heathrow to Gatwick?

What is the best way to get from Heathrow to Gatwick? What is the cheapest
way? What is the cost? How much time would it take on a Monday mid-morning?
Thanks

The direct coach service cost 17 GBP they take credit cards they are easy to
find at the airport.

The underground to Victoria with a change then the train to Gatwick will be
cheaper but a lot more hassle - especially with luggage.

A black cab at the airport will cost about 130GBP on the meter - you can
negotitate a fixed price of about 80-90 GBP.

A pre booked local taxi should cost about 50-70 GBP.

The taxi option may be better if there are several of you.

The coach will take about 1.5 hours you might have to wait 20 minutes for
the next one. (After 10:00am the traffic is not too bad).

The best way is via the bus that runs between them. They recommend 3 hrs
for connections (in case of M25 delays). Can't remember the price but you
should be able to get all the details from the BAA website:

all the bus details here... by far the easiest way
