"(Reuters) - Greece's rundown state hospitals are cutting off vital
drugs, limiting non-urgent operations and rationing even basic medical
materials for exhausted doctors as a combination of economic crisis
and political stalemate strangle health funding....."

Depend on this thing called government solely for your health care and
you will get a political football and then get only what the
government decides they can afford to pay

That would be Socialism that already spent all their money..... you
remind me of my kids at 5 years old, they also had no concept of saving
for a rainy day. I would hand my 5 year old a few quarters and they
wanted to spend it all right away, just like you Socialists want to do.

It is the Socialists that spent all the money Greece had.... Then
after my kids spent their money they wanted more and I had to explain
that they only had so much money and by spending it all on the silly
things they wanted now, they had none left for the things they might
want or need later.

I taught them to NOT waste all their money, a lessen you Socialists
never learned.

It's NOT austerity that was chosen by Republicans it was chosen by
Socialists like it was chosen by my 5 year old that had NOT yet learned
to regulate the spending of money. When you don't regulate your
spending as my children learned you end up broke and that is austerity.

So it was Socialist that brought austerity upon themselves just as a 5
year old that has yet to learn how to manage and regulate their money.

Nope.

It was Greeks not paying their taxes.

In a country where there are 100,000 Porsche 911's there are less than
50,000 people who pay enough tax to have an income adequate to run
one...

They are Billions in the hole...

If they won't pay for all the government goodies why does the government
hand them out?

The Socialists are giving out money they haven't collected. Obviously
the Greek people are less interested in Socialism than are the elected
leaders that give away the people money.... the people aren't ready to
give away all their money.

So the Leaders need to force the people to give away the money or they
need to stop promising the money they can't steal from the people.
There is a disconnect between what people are willing to pay and what
the government is willing to spend. The Democratically elected
government is supposed to "reflect" the will of the people. If they
have to put 50% of their citizens in prison for tax evasion, they have a
problem.

Merely Laffer's curve inherent in the philosophy of supply side
economics vindicated once again.

The more this thing called government attempts to 'soak the rich' with
confiscatory income tax rates, more and more of that smart money will
always find legal or undetectable illegal schemes for avoidance. That
smart money is by nature always smarter and one step ahead of the
government bureaucrat attempting to enforce the confiscatory taxation
schemes of this thing called government

Socialists delude themselves into thinking of government deficits
solely in terms of the revenue side and never in terms of the spending
side. They live in a fantasy world considering the source of
government revenue iinfinite and delude themselves into assuming
somewhere, someplace there are always people available to steal more
revenue from .

So you're saying people shouldn't pay their taxes.

Well that puts you on the immoral side of the argument for a start.

Try living without a government for a time and see how you like it.

Somalia and rural Afghanistan would both welcome some well armed
settlers...

I imagine you'd last less than a week...

One can't use "socialism" as a term anymore. It has become a word used
to express the utmost disapproval.Bill O'Reilly is a big master of
such linguistic tricks. When he does not like somebody he calls him a
socialist when he really does not like somebody he calls him a
communist.

So you are confirming that Socialism is well hated and people take
Socialist to be an insult or a label used to designate worthless human
beings who want to crush freedom for their own gain.

All I need to do is be sure I use it to point out real Socialists and
then we know those people are scum.

I think we agree?
