Blue Angels!

Though the local air show starts tomorrow, the Blue Angels were
practicing all day today, and while I was out driving they flew right
over the road, so I went down about a mile (near the airport) and parked
and watched them perform the most incredible maneuvers!

I've seen the Blue Angels perform many times before, my favorite being
in San Francisco over the Golden Gate Bridge, but they are spectacular
whatever the venue. I literally had these jets flying directly over my
head, with barely enough time to read "U.S. NAVY" on the wings as they
whizzed by.

Lately I've felt so bad about what's happened to my country, but the
Blue Angels really perked me up. These pilots are the finest men
(what's left of) our nation has to offer. Go Blue Angels!

FYI: the Blue Angels are no longer just men.

That is true. Although it appears that so far no female pilot
has flown in a show with them.
