in auckland or new zealand for a day?
in auckland, the waterfront is pleasant & K Road is interesting.
but if you are only in New Zealand for a day, hire a car and go for a
drive to the beach at Kawhia (via Raglan) try and get there at low
tide and you will see one of the most unusual sites, especially if its
cold, people digging holes in the beach (black sand) to soak in the
hot water. gee its an eerie site, looking like a gravediggers
convention....
