I saw an article where licenses were suspended in January 2008 for both Casa
Rosso and the Banana Bar in the RLD. Just curious - are these
establishments closed now (Feb-2008) - or does this...

All inclusive in Mayan Riviera
We stayed at the Riu Palace Mexico at the end of June and it was absolutely

After checking out a TON of info at tripadvisor.com, I ended up going with
Riu Palace Mexico - located between Riu Yucatan and Riu Playacar. This
other Riu in the complex was the brand new Riu...

Riviera Maya Questions
Just got back from the Riu Palace Mexico in Play del Carmen. The beach was
fine. I could see the palm trees we still growing back, but they are now
able to provide some relief from the mid-day...

We stayed at the "old" Riu Palance Mexico, but we spent an afternoon at the
pool of the new Riu Palace Riviera Maya (1/2 mile up the beach). The pool
