They do have a website although not sure why - most of their "readers" don't
seem like the sort of people who would seek out news between editions of the
paper!

Bkk-Chiang Mai train
Yes it's train travel only for our little lady! Given that we love train
travel, she has grown up thinking this is the normal way to get about. As
we have done that Bkk-CM trip overnight on the...

Bkk-Chiang Mai train
I've done plenty of overnight train travel in my time - mainly between
London and Paris. I know that you see nothing other than the first and last

Bkk-Chiang Mai train
We thought it would make a change. Our daughter (age 11 so old enough to
have a view!) was really keen on doing a long distance train travel and
night train travel in particular. We love train...

Maesa Elephant Park, Chiang Mai
Has anyone been to this and done the mahout program? I'm particularly
interested in people's experiences with the overnight programs. We're
planning to do a 2 day / 1 night program in early...

Chiang Mai to Angkor Wat
I had forgotten about Bkk Air's coupon system. We flew Bkk Air a few years
back to Samui and they were fine. I was amazed at their lounges with
internet access and drinks. Full cost airlines in...

Chiang Mai to Angkor Wat
Thanks for that. Yes I had checked out Bangkok air. The connection isn't
too bad, but I had hoped for direct. The bus option sounds a bit more time
consuming!

That the "how long is a piece of string" question! As I watched the events
unfold on the news, I asked myself what I would do if I were about to travel

We've always used Lonely Planet and found them informative and well laid
out. The phrase book can be useful too.

visiting Gallipoli, particularly Australians and New Zealanders, who lost
many men there. Tours there are becoming increasingly...

Hotels in Bangkok with nice pool?
The Intercontinental has a pool on the 36th floor. It seemed to get a lot
of sun. Great view from up there too.

That sounds very unpleasant. I wouldn't touch Emirates with a barge pole.
From my trips to Asia and seeing their crew, it seems to be full of Brits
who wouldn't be able to get a job with any other...
