Default TRUE STORY OF THE 'TAJ MAHAL'

WORLD MOVEMENT TO UNMASK THE TRUE STORY OF TAJ MAHAL

It is high time now that a strong movement starts in the

scientific proofs put forth during last 25 years by the
various renowned research institutions and scholars about
Taj Mahal.

These articles by experts of international repute in
their respective fields contain tons of scientific proofs

There never was a "Professor Marvin H. Mills" at the Pratt Institute.
Even Marvin Mills' website does not refer to Pratt at all. The
connection with Pratt, though, is that it is a preferred destination of
students from India seeking advanced education in engineering, one of
who no doubt incorporated his alma mater into this hoax.

There are many references, within the saffron web, to Marvin Mills
taking a sample from a wooden door in the Taj in 1974 and carbon dating
it, "proving" that it predated Shah Jahan. Overlooking the fact that
random visitors aren't allowed to carve out chunks of wood from the Taj
and take it home, Marvin Mills wrote to the New York Times in *1991*,
_suggesting_ that the Indian government carbon date artifacts from the
Taj, without mentioning anything about having done it himself. Rather
curious for someone who allegedly had already done that 17 years prior.

Marvin Mills also is consumed with proving that the Mosque at Cordoba
was not built by Islamic invaders. Sounds like a familiar theme.

So here we have two big lies that underpin his status as "an expert of
international repute": that Marvin Mills ever taught at Pratt, and that
he ever carbon-dated a piece of wood from the Taj.

Onto Stephen Knapp.

Stephen Knapp is not, and has not ever been, a "Professor". Furthermore,
he is allegedly of American origin, not UK. Knapp's interests are in
"proving" that Islam and Christianity contributed nothing to India, but
that India(specifically, Hinduism) contributed to everything in
existence. He also claims that the temples that St. Gregory destroyed in
Armenia were Hindu temples, rather than those of the Greco-Roman pagans
of the time. That is to say, he subscribes to the view that all pagan
religions were vedic religions.

Now, P.N. Oak. A nutjob if ever there was one. According to Oak, the
Vatican was a Hindu temple, the Ka'bah was a Shiva temple, Stonehenge
was a Hindu sacred site, Native Americans were Hindus, etc. Oak also
claimed that the Taj was a Hindu temple, contradicting the claim of
Marvin Mills who says it was a palace.

P. S. Bhat and A. L. Athavale: who these two fellows are, I have no
idea. Apparently, their claim to fame is to have written a book
claiming- wait for it!- that the Taj Mahal was a Shiva temple. It is
quite possible that the book was written by one or more of the other
"experts of international repute" under these pseudonyms.

The common thread running through these "experts of international
repute" is that they all claim that the Taj and other Islamic edifices
in India and overseas were originally Hindu temples and/or palaces.
Clearly, though, none of these people are "experts" in anything but
b.s., let alone having "international repute".
