It's not really all that wet -- barely raining all day (I was out
walking around all afternoon.) It was the fifty mph gusts of wind
that made it difficult to stay upright if you foolishly happened to
venture onto the boardwalk. It got so bad that a few of the casinos
weren't even allowing people to exit through the doors into the
boardwalk.#



We never got to the boardwalk. We were out early and driving around in
very heavy rain, some roads became impassable with water too deep to
drive through and police cars turning us back. We went into Walmart and
I struggled to hold the car door in the wind. We were soaked just
getting into the store. We went to another store and bought some food
and returned to this apartment early afternoon and I never ventured out
again.
Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
