4/24:
Fly to Cairns. Pick up rental car and drive to Port Douglas.
Spend 4
nights at Bay Villas Resort. Spend one day doing the DainTree
Explorer
tour. Spend some time snorkelling and on beach.

I don't think you can swim in the sea at Port Douglas at this time of
year except in the netted areas; due to the stinger jellyfish. So
unless the net is placed where there's something safe to see under the
water, you won't be snorkelling. Beaches are excellent though. Stay
clear of estuaries and rivers due to man-eating crocs!
