My family wants to try to rent a house or condo for about a week in
Orange County California. How can we make sure the people or company
renting it is reliable? We don't want to be unpleasantly surprised
when we arrive, like finding that the place is in terrible condition.

know it's a good company? Are there any well known companies that do
vacation rentals?
