Depend what Congo you are talking about...

Most of Congo Brazzaville is fine and that is actually where Odzala is.
I organise tours to Congo Brazza. It is a fantastic country.
Your best bet would be to go on the Atlantic coast instead of the central region.

I just find it very hard to get the right nb of people to put groups together.
Otherwise there is a number of agencies running tours over there

our company is working in Congo and Uganda since years. Specially the east
of Congo (both Kinshasa and Brazzaville) is not safe enough for tourism. We
have our own staff overthere and they face a lot of problems, meanless if
locals or foreigners.
