Hitch a ride when Spirit sends the Airbuses down to Aeromann for
maintenance. Seriously, though,it might pay to take Spirit, even TACA/Lacsa
to Guatemala and proceed from there. Terrestially, th border crossings have
become quite a bit easier. If you're going to the eastern side, Tegucigalpa
or even Managua might be a solution. Spirit flies to both and offers pretty
good discounts sporadically. If you do fly Spirit, try asking them why they
obviously avoid SAL. The answer could prove interesting.
