I've had good deals at the Jurys Inn, which is fine -

And there is now Yotel within the airport itself, though it's probably
more suitable for a shorter layover - http://www.yotel.com.

Though bear in mind that with a 24-hour layover, really anywhere in
western/central London is quite a viable option, and will give you
much more interesting choices in spending your waking hours and in
dining. If money's not a big issue, then time isn't either - the
Heathrow Express, albeit the priciest way to get into the city centre,
takes only about 15 minutes into Paddington station.
