We like the "thank-yous" we get for the personal recognition we give
them in the form of a tip. We have always tipped along the ship's
guidelines, and feel that now these automatic charges will be shared by
unknown staff who have not necessarily personally served us, don't know
who we are, and we have no way to tell how well they performed their duties.

Our May Zuidy was our first cruise under this new tipping system, and we
simply could not leave without giving a few extra dollars to those who
made our cruise so enjoyable.
