Default Fresh talent snag Burberry campaign

The modeling industry is one of the toughest and cut throat businesses to be in, especially at this time of financial crisis, so it's always great to hear success stories of girls who are able to break through and land life changing campaigns.

Top models like Kate Moss normally overcrowd the designer market but two fresh new faces have landed the new Burberry gig – one of the highest exposure campaigns around, which has boosted the careers of Agyness Deyn and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in the past.

The Burberry spring 2009 photo shoot features newcomer Eden Clarke, who was only spotted 18 months ago at a festival on the Isle of Wight.

Clarke, 19, has shot to the big time since, and appeared on the cover of British Vogue in November alongside well known Jourdan Dunn.

Another British teen, 18-year-old Alexina Graham from Nottingham, has also made the cut for the Burberry campaign after being discovered in Camden market.

Also featuring in the shoot, which was pictured in a Richmond greenhouse, are 19-year-old George Craig and 23-year-old Emily Hope, making it an all British cast.

So even as the credit crunch crushes job opportunities for many Brits, at least there is hope for wannabe rising stars in the fickle world of fashion.
