One of my earliest cruises was on the HAL Westerdam (the old one). They
had a real movie theater. I loved having that option, if the evening
show in the show lounge didn't appeal to me. I'd love to see a cutting
edge, stadium seating, surround sound movie theater on ships - maybe it
would seat 200? Each week, they could have multiple showings of, say, 3
movies, giving everyone a pretty decent chance to catch one or more
showings of the movies they wanted to see.

Lee, the Jewel of the SeasŪ has a cinema on board. Was on the Jewel
tthe beginning of Feb. They showes Wild Hogs, Talledaga Nights, Shrek 3,
and a couple others I forget the names. It was not as big as a movie
theatre but it sat maybe 50-60 people.

The Disney ships have a movie theater. Of course, almost all they
show is Disney flicks. When they were in the Med last summer, PoTC 3
opened the day they left Barcelona. So they had a showing that night.
I believe, technically, it was before the showing in Los Angeles.
