I had done that already, been to your suggested site among otheres,
and
posted this as a last resort. Whether there's a bus connection or
cable car
connection between the two resorts all the year through is not at all
clear
to me.

The additional link "Courmayeur" shows 6 daily departures for
Summer season (July 1st - Sept 10th) and 2 daily departures
for Winter season (Winter season daily except Sundays and
public holidays), rates and phone number for mandatory
reservations
