Question 1: Are there any websites or stores in the NYC area which specialize
in Japanese imports (food / small gifts etc.)? I want to import "Sokenbicha"
tea from Japan and the website I've found already offers Pocari Sweat and
Suntory Oolong tea, but not Sokenbicha (they must not have an agreement with
Coca Cola of Japan - who makes Sokenbicha). I bought a six pack of Sokenbicha
back with me but it won't last for long.

Jlist (
www.jlist.com) carries a number of japanese food products. They
don't have sokenbicha listed but they are fairly open to getting
specific products. Unless they sell it in a powdered / tea bag form it
might be expensive though.

Just as an FYI, I found a Mituswa Supermarket in Edgewater NJ (just south of
the GWB) which had plenty of Sokenbicha and pretty much everything else
Japanese. That place is HUGE!!! It has several restaurants inside it, and
across the street is a mall of several different Japanese boutiques and
restaruants etc. (Kinokuniya Bookstore etc.). It's a little hard to get to,
but worth the trouble.

Thanks.
