5. Visit one of the dispatching centers for the metro

This is possible? I would love to do that. Do you have any further
information?

Hi,

There are several tours organized within the metro system. One is a
night visit of the lines and stations, including the connecting lines
where no passengers are generally allowed. Some of these tours involve
the old "Sprague" trains that have been landmarks of the Paris metro
system for over 50 years. They start around 23h45 and end around 5 am,
in front a very good onion soup!

Regarding the dispatching center, some tours are organized for senior
citizen organizations. The best way to find information is to call
RATP, or write them, at:

Maison de la RATP
54, quai de la Rapée
75599 PARIS Cedex 12
Phone: +33 1 58 78 20 20
(French only - lundi a jeudi [mo to th] : 8 h 15-18 h 30 ; vendredi
[fr]: 8 h 15-18 h)

Cheers,

Yves
