Default Travel to Spain in November?

The Iberian peninsula is a big chunk of land, the second most
mountainous region of Europe with the highest roads. There will
certainly be snow on the Sierras and in the Pyrenees. In the South, it
should still be warm enough to swim and sunbathe.

If you drive, you'll see more of the countryside and have more aggro in
the cities.

I am planning to take a 10 days trip to Spain at the end of October and early
November. I assume that hotel reservations would not be necessary at
that time
of year - correct? Any advice on the wisdom of driving in Spain and
Portugal as
opposed to taking trains? Also, it appears that the temperature should be in
the 50's - 60's at that time - correct? Is rain very likely? Any suggestions?
Please respond to: Thanks.

Tony
