Four adults + four teens to from FLL airport to pre-cruise hotel
near Miami cruise port. It probable is a $100 cab ride x two cabs.
Any taxi vans availible at airport for personal hire, or is a bus the way
to go?

What cruise line are you going on? Just as a suggestion, if the hotel in
questions happens to be one offered from the cruise line in their pre- and
post-cruise packages, they may offer transfers (for a fee of course), even
if you did not opt for such a package itself. You might want to call the
cruise line or your travel agent.
