Will be going on HAL's Maasdam soon and have a question.

We like to bring our own wine aboard but, since we'll be travelling
from California, I thought that I'd bring just a couple of bottles
with me and resupply at St. Thomas and St. Martin. HAL allows
passengers to bring wine aboard but my SO thinks that at St. Thomas
passengers are not allowed to bring spirits aboard. Is this true?
