Default Paris metro Line 14

Hello,

"Miss L. Toe" a écrit :

Is this a new line ?

There doesn't seem to be maps on
http://www.ratp.fr/ParisVisite/Eng/Pla_q/f_pla.htm

A recent one. It's on the map. Starts along the Seine, SE of Paris.

Also is there any benefit/difference between taking the roissybus vs the RER
from Charles de Gaulle to the centre of Paris. The bus seems a fraction
cheaper.

Yes, and a more confortable than the RER especially with heavy pieces of lugage.
But all depends on where you go in Paris.

Finally I am looking for 10 unusal things to do in Paris - i.e. touristy
things, but having been there about 20 times before, not the usual touristy
things - Any suggestions ?

1. Visit the sewer (?) system
2. Visit the catacumb
3. Visit Pere Lachaise (a graveyard) (kind of touristic though)

"Funnier" that 2 and 3:

4. Go to a flee market (Montreuil souk is quite strange, Porte de Vanves is also
neat, avoid Clignancourt and beware of pickpockets!)
5. Visit one of the dispatching centers for the metro
6. Cross Paris on rollers (may want to be trained a this!)
7. Have a wonderful ice cream at Bertillon in Ile-Saint-Louis or one of the
fantastic bread and pastries at Poujauran (near the Eiffel Tower)
8. Spend an evening in a Jazz club. Paris has a lot of these with excellent
programs.
9. Take a one day cruise on the canals in Paris (not the Seine) and outside
10. Visite some of these "small size" museums that are worth the visit indeed:
eg the doll museum, the clock museum, the pinball and other "gaming machine"
museum (use to play the price of the ticket on one of theis amchine: could be
free sometimes!). The list is not limitative...

Bon sejour a Paris.
