I've been living in Japan for 13 years, and I've never hear anything of
the kind. Either you're hanging around in the wrong kind of company -
losers, did you say? Well, that figures - or you just made it up.

Every one I met in Japan have been really good people, not the losers, maybe
the OP was in another country like the U.S. hanging out with some losers.
And I am proud to be connected to Japan if only by marriage and siblings.
