The "Jewish State" is "Israel," it is legitimate. Hezbollah is not.

Since you come from a country where separation of religion and
government is part of the core of the country's beliefs, it is
uinteresting that the USA would so support a country that refuses to
separate religion from government.

Because Israel makes itself to be sa "Jewish" country, any attack on
Israel is portrayed as an attack against all jewish people around the
world. This prevents countries with large jewish populations from being
objective about Israel and makes muslims see that country as acting
against muslims, making things worse.


And in terms of Hezbollah, are you aware that it is a legitimate
political party in Lebanon with lots of popular support ?

The only way they want to live in peace with Israel is if there is NO
Israel. Read Hezbollah's and Hamas' charter, and listen to the megalomanic
president of Iran's frequent statements.


This is only rethoric for negotiating tactics. lebanon has spent 20
years rebuilding itself since the last invasion by Israel and was a
peaceful place. Not anymore. And the wounds created will sprout many
more terrorists and Israel will not get bombers from Palestine AND
Lebanon whereas in the past , it was just Palestine.
