Default List Of Acceptable TA's Needed For GGC2005

Chrissy,

As of right now, the decisions of the committee concerning who is
allowed to bid on the rfb have not been made so publishing a list isn't
feasible. That statement was for the GGC2004. The committee each year
sets the rules for how bidding is to be done, how selection is to be
done and tries to maintain some semblance of order in the process.

You'll just have to wait, patiently or impatiently is your choice.

It's only the fair thing to do.

Lloyd Parsons, King of GGC2005, has made the public statement that
only TA's who meet "The current requirements for bidding are :

1. Be a participating member in RTC
2. Be a full-time travel agent
3. Be owner, principal or can get permission to commit the agency to
a contract."

Huh?

What's a "participating member" exactly?

What's "full time" mean exactly?

"Get permission?" To commit to a contract, you need more than
"permission", you need to be an authorized signatory.

These questions remained unanswered.

The GGC2005 committee is making up the rules on the fly, fine, let
them do so.

However, if Parsons is as good at this as he claims he will be, a
published list of acceptable bidders will go a long way toward keeping
"unacceptable TA's" from wasting their time and ours.
