I believe that they run a shuttle bus for about 1GBP.

If you really want to walk, you will need to either walk along the main A23
without pavements or get the train to the north terminal, walk down the slip
roads with no pavements, cross to the petrol station (Texaco I think) take
the difficult to find cut-through of one of the hotels, then around some
local roads and left at the roundabout (I think it is then about 50 yards
with no pavement).

Have you got medical insurance cover ?
