that road is ploughed year around so unless it's snowing heavily, you
can visit it.
I have encountered the road closed. Perhaps they were among the rare
exceptions.
I've visited Virginia City many times and even once considered buying
a casino there. I spent an entire day with the seller who showed me
much about the operation and what he felt he had to do. I decided it
was more work than I was willing to do. It would have been giving my
life to the work so I remained, for my entire working life, an
employee of others with a full life almost completely separate from my
work.
Are you thinking of Brodie?
No. I cannot tell you how many times I've tried, but failed, to visit
Brodie. The one time I succeeded was late in the day so it was a
short, but well worth the while, visit.
