It's on some (most?) United flights. Plug the headphones into the jack
in the armrest, use the buttons to select the channel and volume, and relax.

If you live near a major airport, you might want to invest in a scanner
that will pick up air traffic control. There are typically different
frequencies for approach, ground control, etc. You can listen to all
that in the comfort of your own home. You, too, could be an aviation
geek before you know it. If your airport is featured on
http://www.flightatc.net, you might not even need a scanner.

Another poster on this group mentioned http://www.flightaware.com;
you can use it to watch activity at an airport or follow a flight from
takeoff to landing, monitoring its position, altitude, and ground speed.
