Excerpt:

"TORONTO (Reuters) – Pressured by an aging population and the need to
rein in budget deficits, Canada's provinces are taking tough measures
to curb healthcare costs, a trend that could erode the principles of
the popular state-funded system...."

The utopia of Socialized Medicine for Socialists: Everybody shares
albeit equally only in what this thing called government can afford.

Think rationing.

Yes ... rationing ... exactly as Americans do today ... only in the
USA it's rationed by access to money, instead of based on real need
.... so, as a nation, Americans spend far more than any other country
and yet still manage to achieve worse results overall in terms of
health care than many other industrialised nations.

Of course the key to controlling health care costs is to control
profits of doctors and drug companies who hold a monopoly on
lifesaving medical procedures and drugs ... something Canada is
clearly more successful at doing.

Sadly, the drug companies in America actually had to get the FDA to
make it illegal for many Americans to exercise their right to shop
around for cheaper life-saving drugs ... but when your life is at
stake and your own country fails to give you access to affordable
medicine, guess you do what you have to do ... including shopping in
Canada ...
