"Patriots" don't make their point by blowing up their countries mothers,
fathers, and children as they try to pursue normal lives. There is
nothing patriotic about what terrorists are doing.

I guess it really depends on which side of the "surge" you are on, doesn't

The British Crown certainly saw the "impudent Colonials" as "insurgents",
while the Colonials certainly saw themselves as "patriots".

It's always the ones who WIN who get to write the History Books, not the
ones
who LOSE.



And Sunni's and Shia's have been killing and maiming each other for years.
