Default Jodhpur or Jaisalmer ?

Indianhomestays.org is an independent travel company, specializing in Home stays, Bed and Breakfast, Resorts and Service Apartments. We are a small, friendly group of travel professionals, who aim to arrange reliable, safe and secure Home-stays, Bed and Breakfast, Resorts and Small hotels across major cities of India. Most of our homestays do not boast of luxury, however, they are charming places with all basic comforts & amenities, cleanliness, hygiene, delicious home-made simple food and courteous service. We are proud to mention that we have a very high client satisfaction rating.

What a stunning location? This Heritage property is located in the center of Jodhpur with its charming streets, practically underneath the Meherangarh fort and a mere hundred metres from the market square and clock tower. Rooms are located around a lovely courtyard and can only be reached by climbing steep stairways what might be an obstacle for the elderly, children and disabled persons. The leitmotif of the interiors of all the rooms is designs, vegetable dyes and local weavers. The rooms have been simply yet tastefully done up. The courtyard of the Haveli makes for an ideal place to relax under the balmy winter sun.

Breakfast and dinner are served in the rooftop restaurant, indoors in cooler weather or outside, overlooking the Gulab Sagar lake and the Mehrangarh Fort, make it a occasion to remember. Candlelight dinners on the terrace from where the main monuments and the entire city is on view, is a bonus no other place

offer. The restaurants offer you a gastronomic delight in local cuisine. Each spoonful is distinctly different from the other in taste and flavor and carrier forth the culinary traditional of the region which is centuries old.. The view from the rooftop restaurant of either the fort or the clock tower/market area by day is great, at night it is simply stunning.
This haveli is really an old converted small palace. The rooms are old, have the old feeling, furniture, decoration, courtyard, it is all in keeping with luxury of a bygone age but still comfortable and welcoming, as are the staff. The haveli is the very centre of Jodhpur within easy walking distance of the market for shopping, and this felt perfectly safe even at night. The sights and sounds of the market are a small but real taste of Indian life. Yet despite being so close to everything the haveli itself had a quiet calm, no excessive noise, a little oasis. it probably offers the best location in town.
