Well It is not really a problem I suppose. My French is not brilliant but
I like to meet Mauritians whenever I'm there too. In fact we usually
offer lifts if I pass people waiting by the country roads.
We usually stay in Le Morne and buses there are tricky, you either have
to go to Soulliac or Quatre Bourne to get anywhere. Also at weekends and
holidays the buses can be full or running holiday timetables, oh and very
hot too, and you have to like SEGA :-)) 'cos there is usually a group on
board!
How do Mauritians get around: well to judge by Port Louis traffic these
last few years, in their cars!
